How do you deal?
This isn’t about correcting a behaviour, this isn’t about judgement on what you do or don’t do. I’m really just curious.
I know that this time of year can be really hard for some people. It can be financially tough. It can be tough being around family so much. It can be hard when old dynamics rear their ugly heads ( I know this one all too well). It can be stressful trying to make the “perfect” Christmas for your kids when you can’t afford it. And don’t even get me started on the damn Elf on the Shelf. I’d shelve him for good if I could. I’m SO not that mom who enjoys setting up extreme scenarios for that damn doll. Sue me. I’m just NOT THAT MOM. I hate it. #sorrynotsorry
I know that stress and anxiety are around the entire year but it seems like Christmas time is a really big trigger for a lot of people. I get it.
So I am wondering..how do you make yourself feel better? Do you meditate? Do you binge eat? Do you over-exercise? Under exercise? Binge watch netflix on the couch? Do you yell at your kids? Fight with your spouse? Go on endless walks with your dog?
For the record, I do a little bit of all of these :).
